Hey, y'all!

Doesn't look like there are many folks using the ol' Forum any more, but just in case:

I have a small solo exhibit coming up in January and February in San Francisco.  It will be at the Window Gallery of The San Francisco Center for New Music, 55 Taylor Street in SF.

I'll have the 40-string Humanitar harp guitar there, as well as some cool banjo-things, and a lot of my woodcut artwork.

The Opening Reception is on Thursday, Jan 11th, from 6-9pm; I'll be interviewed and do a bit of performing starting at 7pm.

It'll be lonely if no one shows up, so do spread the word, and come if you can!

Here's a link for the full story and details:

Oh, and by the way...do check out issue#40 of The Fretboard Journal for a fine article about yours truly, with lovely pictures of several of my harp guitars, and good writing by my friend Tim OLsen of the GAL.

Lot of love!

Fred

Yes, I am afraid there's a bit of an echo in here. I am afraid the trip is a tad on the longer side but Fretboard should be here any day now :-). Merry Christmas Monsieur Fred and everybody else in here!

Hi Fred. Would love to be there with you... Perhaps we could Skype the event!
Best wishes to you, and to all the forum readers.

Fred, your link was a fun read. I live closer to you than Thomas but Miami is still a tad distant. Good luck with your exhibit.

Too bad no one's invented teleportation yet!  I'd so much love to have you all there!

Oh, by the way, I don't think I ever posted pics of my latest actual harp-guitar-like-thing, the Tibetan Tiger Harpobanjitar:

Kind of a lot to describe here, but use your imagination!

And here's a short video of the intrepid luthier attempting to play it!

Happy Holidays!

Fred

That is absolutely mindbogglingly beautiful. Risking my eloquence here: wow!
