Hello Gregg, hello all.
I think this is the last video for the project "Seeking the Divine", which has just been released. Eight of the nine tracks are on the harp guitar.
Best wishes to all.

Thanks, Neal!  A new player and builder for me, too.

Hi Everyone, I wanted to have this video ready to post before the Gathering last weekend, to show that the Harp Guitar is alive and well in the UK.  Never mind, better late than never.  I had a lot of fun making this video, and I hope you will enjoy watching it.

Beautifully played. Great sounding HG! Also an excellent photographer. Could you play weddings AND take the pictures? Good idea..right?

Yes, it's called "The Pickard Maneuver"...(sorry, Star Trek joke).

Wow, Jon,

Wild and wonderful!  I love the clouds roaring around inside the 13-sided stone ring (what is that thing, anyway?).  A lot of complicated syncing there...nice production.

Oh, and harp guitar playing not too shabby, either!

Thanks for the show!

Fred

Oh - I only just saw the last few comments - auto responder off duty?   anyway…

Yea I had a lot of fun filming that on a sunny autumn morning with a metronome in my pocket while my kids were at school.  A trip to a modern ‘folly’ stone circle / piece of art called Heaven’s Gate.  What is that thing?  -  its art, you tell me what it is!  For the purposes of the video its a portal to another world, where its apparently always cloudier than in our world.

I did actually professionally photograph my first wedding a few weeks ago, and also offered to play guitar afterwards.  I should have called it the Picard maneuver (against which there is no defense by the way).  I guess the clients (who had already engaged) didn’t think I’d be able to make it, so…

Jeez if I had a penny for every Star Trek quip I’ve had to endure...
