Oh yes I have heard of that Jaci. I didn't get the reference to 24. I watch the show and checked all the cast members out but didn't see a Jaci. I guess I still have more to learn about Gregg's world.

No, she's not ON it, she's wardrobe.  But getting full FBI check this week for a visit to the set by Mrs. Cheney.
I'm busted!

Maybe Jaci could sneak a harp guitar onto the set...

Great Tone! You ARE going to make it. Looking forward to meeting you in person.  Also... can't wait to see and hear Andy Wahlberg again... a very special talented guy.
I am going to bubble wrap the head-stocks of my HG, put it in it's hard-shell case then box it and check it with my luggage at the curb. I think that might be the safest way. We talked about this last year. I wonder if anyone has had some recent experience with this subject?????

well theres a great question...??? i too am wondering how the heck' to try to bring my new HG??? i have a case for it but dave was thinking of just taking it in a gig bag and asking them to put it in a closet, on board... what do you all think? we checked one, last time but it was: in a case; in a cardboard box, and that seemed to work fine. but we could tell that they had gone thru it and looked inside and them taped it back up. it had tape on it that said 'random inspection' on it. wonder what they thought?

If you get stuck, HGM flight cases by CaseXtreme are finally here. Inside dimensions are 45" x 19-1/4 x 8".
Fits a Dyer or smaller in a gig bag or thin outer case (or loose).
Waiting on invoice and trucking bill to confirm price.
I'll be bringing a Dyer in one, but no extras.

Ok....the wife says we can make it! Now if my internet service will hang in long enough to register and get travel plans made, we're good to go.

Dennis, I am sure I'm not the only one who's glad to see you make the effort.  As I said, I guarantee you will go home saying "I can't believe I almost missed this"!

Thanks Gregg! Looking forward to meeting many everyone. SB has been warned by email, and I suspect we'll be driving up so we can take in the scenery. Plus, no worries about the airlines thrashing my guitar.

It will be great to meet you in person Dennis. There will be a record number of Sedgwick harp guitars in one place.

Does anyone remember the secret handshake from the last gathering in Virginia?  Perhaps Dandy does.

See y'all soon!

I do... I can't disclose how to do it on the forum though. It's a secret.

Same here Steve! Hmmm...*secret handshake* huh? ( *Eh?* for those up in Canada . ) Hopefully there will be a formal breifing on this at coffee.

We're still for a Wednesday evening departure with planned arrival in Williamsburg late Thursday/early Friday. Going to take our time and enjoy the drive up.

If I remember correctly, there is video of that secret handshake in a certain harp guitar dvd that premiered in Salem a couple of years ago.  Maybe I should take a look to refresh my memory.

Linda and I are heading out tomorrow morning.  We're spending a few days in Washington D.C. before we head down for the Gathering.  Should be in Williamsburg Thursday.  Maybe Wednesday, if the planets align properly.  Look forward to seeing everyone again and meeting a bunch of new folks.  Hope everyone has a safe journey.  See y'all in a few days!

Hey Guys and Gals, thanks for attending this years Gathering, Tone and I had such a marvelous time hosting and I hope we can do it again.  The venue and hotel both were thrilled to work with us and expressed interest in having us back, so hopefully we can continue spreading the harp guitar gospel to the world!  Thanks again and we look forward to seeing everyone again in North Carolina next year!!!  Cheers
