A busy month!  Glad folks are starting to take advantage of my services.
Something for every budget, from an inexpensive harp-mandolin, to a used Lark in the Morning, to a prize collectible Gibson.

Nice line-up of instruments, Gregg. Do you think you will branch out to other types, or stay harp only?

Dave

Definitely "harp only," though I might consider running Knutsen non-harp instruments.

The binding/purfling combo on that Knut is outrageous!

OT, but just revisting that instrument...

Q: would this (and other "Nutty" labels) be  evidence that CK himself pronounced his name with a soft "K" - i.e. Americanized?

Darrell - I thought you were my back-up expert!
Jean addressed that question for us pretty much day one on FAQ.
She also addressed it AND that label for us on What's In a Name?

Well, Frank put me on the spot with his "Shopping" article, but I've managed to start stocking up the Instruments page...
Note the new detailed link banner at the top as well.

Gregg, it's nice how you managed to demo the Noble HG during your NPR spot. Maybe you are a salesman after all! If I didn't have a Beardsell HG coming I might have seriously thought of taking the plunge with the Noble HG. I can't believe that there isn't a heart stopping upcharge for the gorgeous HG-sized quilted mahogany. The Dyer HG after full restoration is not only a rare find but also a steal. I hope a player gets it and not someone looking to fix it up and flip it for a handsome profit. BTW, I noticed that the HG Store page says "instuments" at the top. Anyway, good luck with your sales(though I don't think these HG's will stick around for too long).
  - Esau

P.S.
 -  It might be helpful to throw in some info regarding the price of the flight cases since anyone making this kind of investment will eventually want something more protective than a padded case.

Yes, Tone, the NPR spot was what brought new curious music fans, and then new shoppers to HGM, and sold your mando. Buyers write:

"We wanted to let you know that the harp mandolin and the CD arrived safely today. We have been enjoying both ALL DAY!!! You have made my wife and I very happy, thank you for allowing us to add this new and exciting experience to our musical lives. It has been a pleasure doing business with you."

A couple nibbles on the Noble and LIMs as well (see, "something for every pocketbook!").

Esau - flight cases should be ready end of the month. They are by CaseExtreme, and something I came up with (sizewise). Not sure what my final cost is, but they will be way cheaper than anvils and equivalent. And way lighter, but about as safe.
They can then contain the new custom HGM gigbag which Colorado will be making shortly. Both designed to be slightly "generic" - fitting Dyers, Nobles, most Knutsens, Sedgwicks and the like (everything but Frank's!)...
As you can tell, I'm trying to service the whole HG community, no matter how much I lose my shirt!
"Instruments" in linkbar fixed - thanks!

I do concur!  That instrument has incredible resonance.  Pete Bradsaw heard it too.

Can't believe everyone slept on that one...anyway, a coincidental run on HGs has put 3 on the Hold/Sold list.

Meanwhile, we have lowered the stunning Milburn by over 20%!
