Hello:
For all the scholars I just aquiered this instrument:

It's the best made kontragitarre I ever have seen. Every detail is outstanding: Bracing, body size and materials (it's HUGE!), the tension bar inside the body is held by a clock key screw and not just a plain wood screw. The neck is the famous "Albert Neck": very thin and large (48mm). When I got it the bas head was broken (thanks post office!) and the bridge is lifted, nothing that I can't arrange
So I will post photos of the different repair, I don't plan to put it "as new", I hate gloss finish on a 1923's kontragitarre, but just repair the damages of wear and abuse. By the way it's the second kontragitarre I have from Fuchs and I have a wappengitarre with again an "Albert Neck"...
Cheer and Merry Christmas to you all
