Hi friends,

it's been a while that I have not gone to see you there but I am still making harpguitars ;-)

A big one is going out of the shop this next week end.

Wow! That is a busy headstock with symps and "normal" guitar strings! You are an engineering genius. Can't wait to see the rest of this marvel.

Here is SheVaha, the brand new Harpguitar out of the shop.
It has been made for multi-instrumentist Jan Vanek.

30 inside/outside strings, some wood, glue and varnish and a 7" percussion just in case of......

Well done Cedric!

Beauty and function, that's what I like. Tunable percussion keeps him from beating on the fragile instrument. I like that too.

Cedric, Mon ami!!

I'm sorry I missed this thread when it was current, but seeing it now is wonderful...what an instrument!  I love that you put on the drum head....somewhere around the shop I have drawings I did years ago for a client who wanted several drums as part of a guitar;  I never built it, but I'm so glad you did!


Looks like you have an access door in the back, and lots of those "Pegheds" pegs with the gearing in the peg shaft.
