10 years, and well worth the wait.
See my write-up:
http://www.harpguitarmusic.com/listings/listing_book_mozzani.htm
I should have them before Christmas.  Like everything from Italy, they've been difficult to get and expensive, but well worth it.  It even comes with a CD of never-released material, and full-size plans to build your own Mozzani!  I figure that's a good 50 bucks value right there.  The book is wonderful - there will be MUCH to add to our Mozzani pages in the future!   Not stated in my eloquent listing are my disappointments.  They used nothing from my files or site (not even the one image they requested) - no mention of Italo, the Taraffo scene, nothing.  But that's OK - it is not meant to be exhaustive.  They seem to have been self-contained with their research.  Another complaint would be regarding all the wonderful harp guitar photos sprinkled throughout - few are relevant to, or noted in the text; they're just interesting, but mostly unrelated images (as opposed to, say, Italo, or Taraffo's brother with his Mozzani would have been).  The specifics of the many designs are far too incomplete for my tastes (like most scholars, there is no speculation allowed - like who invented that Aquila?!), but there are plenty of new clues and provenance (I finally know what "mezza-lyra" means - it's [literally] a "half-lyre guitar"!  Just what I've been going on about being so nonsensical all these years).
But I'm a nitpicker.  It's still a "gotta have".
I'm getting 10 at a time.  Any readers of this post can PRE-ORDER before they come in for 20% off.  Just send cehck to the PO Box or Paypal (sales@harpguitarmusic.com) $120 (since it's over $100, shipping is automatically free).  Overseas customers can pre-order also, but I'll have to get an additional shipping payment (it weighs 5 pounds!).

Eeeek!
I've been waiting for that one for a looong time!! But now, can I afford it?
Is it entirely in Italian?  I love Italian, I just don't read or speak it!

Thanks for the heads up on that....I'll check my mattress for leftover change....

Yes, Fred - that's the best part - Italian AND English!
That critical info is in my Books page blurb - forgot to transfer that to the main listing....(thanks!)

Gregg, I'll drop a check in the mail tomorrow(wednesday). Put me down for one copy. Thanks for a great deal on what's sounds like a stunning publication with a recording to boot.

Thanks, Esau.  Anyone else, please email directly.  1 left.
I will of course order more, but only after the first shipment comes in and I verify that they can supply them undamaged.- few European sources can manage this simple task.
And I likely won't discount again.
