A Harp Guitar Music exclusive!

The new, improved DOUBLE CD of the legendary performer is finally finished (including a wonderful, extra English booklet just for U.S. customers) and in stock!
http://www.harpguitarmusic.com/listings/listing_taraffo.htm

A big formal email announcement on this will follow once the extended historical feature is completed by my Italian friends....

Also added to HGM, a reprint of the Zimmermann bass-gitarre tutor (thanks to Benoit for the tip).

The now out-of-print single CD of Taraffo is incredible.  I can't wait to hear even more of his absolutely brilliant performances!  This CD is a must for all who love harp guitar!

I agree Frank, Taraffo is relic of the past before television when practicing your instrument for hours a day was a viable option for a lot more people. To do the crazy ring finger/pinky finger trills he does must have required years of practice!

Happy 120th birthday today to Pasquale Taraffo, arguably the greatest harp guitar virtuoso ever!  If the angels in heaven have heard him play, I imagine many would drop their harps and learn harp guitar from the maestro.  Those who don't have the double CD set yet are really missing something extraordinary!

Thanks, Frank.
Well, the world is going to see a lot more of him.  Our joint Italian-English super Taraffo collaboration is complete and will be posting soon.  Not quite ready is an unbelievable new Gazzo section, and the Members Only video.
This will be as good as Harpguitars.net gets!

Taraffo influenced and inspired a seemingly endless parade of fellow Italians (as did his instrument for other builders).  The Taraffo "Archives" continue with a mind-blowing discovery of the world of Genoese harp guitarists (did they not make 6-strings?!)
